When you give a girl a camera - just beautiful

Happy Tape - look at the fun ways to wrap presents and make cards from it! Oh adding to wish list!

15 Days of Couponing (only 12 there as of now though) - I have been trying to save money - like everyone else so I have relied on coupons more lately. And I found this site had some great ideas. Make sure you click on home too as she lists deals at most grocery stores and plus Wal-mart, Target and the like.

Dollar Store Crafts - And in that saving mode - the whole site is about making crafts from Dollar Store materials! yay for thrify!

Newspaper Bunting @ Maya Made - a great way to repurpose newspaper - fun and easy!

Daffodil Napkin Rings @ Good Housekeeping Crafts - fun, easy and cheery for Spring and Easter!

Make Coasters from Paper Napkins and Tiles @ Curbly - I thought of my Mom with this one only because she likes pretty decorative paper napkins. And it is something I am sure I got from her too because my friends could testify that most packages they get from me has paper napkins in it.

And then one non-craft - more decorating that I just think is cute...

Bundt Pans on the Wall @ 2Modern - I have seen pans like that at thrift store. Even make them bright and new again by using magic erasers on them and maybe doing a coat of paint on them since they are just being decoration

Link for Valentine tablescapes - all sorts of them here. It isn't a blog. But pretty ideas.

Saving in Style - So cute as well as a good idea. I used to clip coupons but I haven't in a long time. What I don't like about coupons is they are for pre-packaged foods often.

I love using my crockpot. I do at least once a week. But I blog hopped on to this blog that did a YEAR of using the crockpot EVERY DAY for 2008 - A Year of Crockpotting

Growing up one of my Mom's quick meals was hot ham and cheese sandwiches. I actually crave them. And tried to make them not too long ago but they just didn't turn out like Mom's. Found this link for a recipe for them (now that blog is on my sidebar too because I found so many good recipes) and it made me want to try them again.

Tablescaping - a blog dedicated to different tablescapes (deocrating the table basically with dishes, tablecloth, centerpiece and so on - someone asked me what tablescape means)

Felt Votive Centerpiece on Design Sponge - so cute in its simplicity. (I love the website design of Design Sponge - wish I would have done it!)

And because Design Sponge is up for a design award for the bloggies listing the link to vote in the 2009 Weblog Awards

This post I know I found via another blog but I can't remember where but it is a good one by Casaubon’s Book about Patriotism.

With the holidays coming upon us I am gearing up for all out baking! I love to bake for Christmas...for parties, for family, for gifts and just to have around the house! So in my blog hopping I found this recipe for Festive Bark. It looks so yummy! I know it would make a good gift in a pretty box or tin.

And then this one just looks fun Free Vintage Transfers for handstitching. But I see them for even painting on flour sack towels for gifts or on to a gift tag for a handmade gift. I am sure the could be good patterns for many things.

From A Study in Brown - Making the Most of What You Have (It looks like a blog that I will be adding to regular reads too.)

Creature Comforts - I don't like lots of ads on blogs. And more importantly I don't like lots of animated/blinking/moving ads (the web designer in me screams no don't do it). But I am linking to this entry because I love the simplistic decorations used in the top picture and then the next two. The top photo is of doilies with orange tacks arranged on the wall in such a great design. Then the next with the clip boards and pictures. I have 3 of those clip boards sitting in my studio as I was going to do something similar only I was going to do some mixed media art on them and then hang photos from it. But just the simplistic brown of the board looks great. (I got those clipboards at Dollar Tree and another great thing about them they have a little flip up hanger so easy hanging.) And then photos arranged in a heart above the bed. So nice.

Marc and Angel Hack Life - 30 Books Everyone Should Read Before Their 30th Birthday -- Well I am over 30 but there were some books on that list I haven't read and would like too.

Mistreatment: Toppers and Valances - I like that last one with the door knob. I have been meaning to do new valance in the kitchen and dining room. I hope to have it done by my birthday just need to find some fabric. Maybe if I find the right fabric it will inspire us for paint in the kitchen and dining room.

Tossing Your To-Do List - with my never ending to-do list -- this is a good reminder

Bread and Butter - It is really the whipped butter I was looking at because in this time of rising food costs I am always looking for ways to save money. Plus it just looks yummy!

Fall Goodie Boxes - I think they are just so cute. Doing up some fall cut out cookies in little bags with ribbon would make such a cute gift.

Blog Hopping

I blog hop quite a bit. I go to one person's blog and hop from a link there to a blog and then hop from there to another and so on. I can really lose lots of time that way. But in the process I laugh, I find inspiration, I find touching stories of love and life challenges.

So I thought I would start sharing some blog hopping finds....

Pretty Paper Blog posted an entry for a project to help jump start those projects we all want to do...she created a Creative Juice jar. Read more about it here.

The Happiness Project - I have only read a handful for entries but several messages that spoke to me.

In my blog hopping someone linked to this...

Hope Revolution -- I would really love to participate in it. From the website: "When I hid my hope notes around the city and documented it online, my inbox was flooded with messages from people who were inspired to do the same in their communities. I was bewildered, but I guess word of mouth is powerful! It propagated through the Internet like wildfire. So, I decided to develop this website to continue the hope revolution."
